In Sudoku, you fill the grid with numbers from 1 to 9, ensuring that the numbers in each row, column and 3x3 section do not repeat. This free online game lets you challenge your mind and take a break from everyday stress!
By the way, did you know that Sudoku, as we know it today, became popular in the 1980s? It is based on ancient Latin square puzzles and was made famous worldwide through Japan.
Instructions
Choose a difficulty level: Easy, Medium, Hard or Very Hard.
Generate new Sudoku puzzle: Each click on a difficulty level generates a new puzzle based on a random algorithm.
Navigate the game: Use the mouse cursor or touch the empty squares on touchscreens.
Input numbers: Click on the empty squares to select and input a number.
Game logic: Each row, column and 3x3 square must contain numbers 1 through 9 without repetition.
Incorrect inputs: If a number appears twice and is incorrect, both will highlight in red for correction.
Stuck? Click "Show Candidates" for suggestions on where numbers could fit.
Use Solve buttons: "One" adds a digit, while "All" solves the entire Sudoku puzzle.
Reset puzzle: Click "Clear Board" to empty all squares.
