How QR Codes Work
A QR code is a two dimensional code that stores information in small black and white squares. It includes fixed areas that help the scanner recognize the orientation. The three large corner markers are the most important part because they make sure the code is detected correctly no matter how it is rotated. Between these fixed parts you find the actual data which is stored in a binary pattern. When you add more information the pattern becomes denser and the code contains more detail.
QR codes also come with built in error correction. This feature allows the code to be scanned even if parts are damaged or covered which makes the system very reliable. When your camera reads the pattern the software translates the tiny squares into digital data and shows the content behind it. This can be a link, an email, a text or anything else that was encoded.
There are also modern QR code styles that use creative visual designs. Some have round shapes instead of sharp squares, softer outlines or subtle color gradients. Some even look like small artworks while still staying fully functional. This works because the core structure of the code remains untouched. With my QR Code Generator you create the classic version that is easy to scan and instantly recognizable.
