• Metric-System:

  • Pool Size - Select how you want to input your pool's dimensions:

    • Length, Width, Depth: Input the exact measurements of your pool in meters. (For the depth, enter the filling depth of the water)

    • Volume: Input the total volume of your pool in cubic meters (m³).

    • Liters: Input the total amount of water your pool can hold in liters.

  • Pool Chemistry - Select the chemical that your pool requires:

    • Chlorine: For chlorine-based pool treatments. Input refers to the concentration in grams per cubic meter (g/m³).

    • Salt: For saltwater pool systems. Input refers to the concentration in kilograms per cubic meter (kg/m³).

  • Optional Pool Additive per 10m³: Input the recommended amount of additive based on 10 cubic meters of water.

  • Calculation: Click on the "Calculate" button to see the results.

  • Results:
    Pool Volume: The total pool volume in m³ and liters.
    Chlorine Needed: The required chlorine amount based on your selected concentration, shown in grams.
    Salt Needed: The required salt amount based on your selected concentration, shown in kilograms.
    Optional Pool Additive: If entered, the amount of additive required for your total pool volume.

• Imperial-System:

  • Pool Size - Select how you want to input your pool's dimensions:

    • Gallons: Input the total volume of your pool in US gallons.

  • Pool Chemistry - Select the chemical that your pool requires:

    • Chlorine: For chlorine-based pool treatments.  Input the amount of chlorine needed per 1000 gallons of water, in ounces (oz).

    • Salt: For saltwater pool systems. Input the amount of salt needed per 1000 gallons of water, in pounds (lbs).

  • Optional Pool Additive per 1000 gallons: Input the amount of additive you want to use per 1000 gallons of water.

  • Calculation: Click on the "Calculate" button to see the results.

  • Results:
    Pool Volume: The total pool volume in US gallons.
    Chlorine Needed: The required chlorine amount based on your selected concentration, shown in ounces.
    Salt Needed: The required salt amount based on your selected concentration, shown in pounds.
    Optional Pool Additive: If entered, the amount of additive required for your total pool volume.

Tip:
If you need to drain pool water in the summer because the temperature is too high and then refill it with some liters (which is often cheaper and more cost-effective than cooling it down with cooling systems, depending on circumstances), you can use this calculator to determine the proportional amount of chemicals you need to add. Enter the refill volume in liters and you can calculate, for example, how much salt you need to add. Remember always to check with specialized measuring devices what your pool requires.
