With the Free Online Lottery Quick Tip Generator & Probability Test Tool, you can see just how extremely unlikely it is to win the lottery.
So before you spend money on your next lottery ticket, try this tool and see how low your chances really are of hitting the right numbers. After all, gambling is gambling and hitting the jackpot takes a ton of luck.
Instructions
Select Tool from the dropdown menu: Quick Tip Generator or Probability Test
Quick Tip Generator:
Highest Number (1-100): Enter the highest number used in your preferred lottery system (for example, 45 for classic 6 out of 45 games). The number balls will automatically adjust based on your input.
Numbers to generate (1-20): Enter the amount of numbers that are typically drawn in your lottery. The interface will adjust dynamically.
Generate: Click this button to randomly generate your lottery numbers. The results will appear highlighted in the number field.
Test These Numbers: Want to test the generated numbers right away without having to type them again? Just click this button and they'll be automatically transferred to the Probability Test.
Probability Test Tool:
Highest Number (1-100): Again, enter the highest number used in your lottery game. The number balls will adjust accordingly.
Tip Amount (1-20): Enter how many sets of numbers you are playing with. Input fields will appear automatically, where you can enter your selected numbers.
Bonus Numbers (0-10): Many lottery systems include one or two additional bonus numbers. This means that if, for example, your Tip Amount is 6 (i.e. you need to guess 6 correct numbers) and one bonus number is drawn (+1), then a total of 7 balls will be selected. But note that in many lottery systems, bonus numbers don't count towards the jackpot, but only apply to certain lower prize tiers. The jackpot typically requires matching all main numbers only. To keep the simulation as realistic as possible, it's best to set the bonus numbers to 0 or match the exact format of your actual lottery game. Still, it's interesting to test what happens if more numbers are drawn. You'll quickly notice that even with 10 bonus numbers, getting several correct picks remains extremely unlikely.
Tip Input: Enter your lottery numbers into the golden balls.
Test Probability: Click this button to compare your numbers with a randomly drawn result. The tool will count how often you matched all numbers or got none right.
Who hasn't dreamed of winning big?
In Austria, people typically play Lotto 6 out of 45 for a chance to win anywhere from 2 up to 14 million euros. In Germany, it's 6 out of 49, with jackpots reaching up to 45 million euros. In the UK, the format is 6 out of 59, usually offering between 10 and 20 million pounds. In the US, the numbers get even bigger. Powerball requires 5 out of 69 plus the Powerball number, while Mega Millions uses 5 out of 70 plus a Mega Ball. These games start at 20 million dollars and can go beyond one billion. EuroMillions works in a similar way. You need 5 out of 50 plus two Lucky Stars for a shot at up to 250 million euros.
I think everyone has imagined at some point what they would do with a few million euros or dollars. Renovate the house, buy a new car, travel the world. Live modestly, but without worries. Just make all your dreams come true. Yes, we all know those thoughts.
You just have to guess a few numbers, usually 6 to 10 out of 45 to 50. That can't be so hard, right?
Well, sorry to burst your bubble with this tool, or at least to show you just how unlikely it is to hit the jackpot in a lottery game. The chance of hitting the jackpot in a lottery like 6 out of 45 is about 0.0000123%, or in other words, 1 in 8145060.
After a few clicks on my probability tool with your chosen lottery numbers, you will notice how rare it is for several numbers to be drawn at once. Most of the time, you will have none, maybe one or two numbers. Every now and then, maybe three.
And when you consider how much a single lottery ticket costs, and that each click in the Probability Tool symbolically represents a wasted lottery ticket, you might want to ask yourself whether it's smarter to put that money into a portfolio that actually grows when invested wisely.
So here's my tip: First invest in yourself and learn about finances.
Disclaimer
Many people will probably use this tool as a quick tip generator, despite the clear message. I'm aware of that. Still, I want to make this very clear: This tool is purely for demonstration and entertainment purposes. It is meant to highlight how absurdly low the chances of winning the lottery are. Gambling can be addictive and is not a solution for financial problems. Please play responsibly or better yet, not at all.
