The Fuel Cost Calculator
With the Free Online Fuel Cost Calculator, you can calculate the total cost of refueling based on the price per unit and the purchased amount.
With this tool, you can easily calculate how much it will cost to fill up your car. The same applies if you are, for example, buying heating oil for your home. This way, you can quickly see how much you will have to pay and how big the difference is when the price per liter changes only slightly.
Instructions
Fuel Type: Select the appropriate fuel or energy source. Alternatively, you can choose "Other" and enter a custom name. This is only used for a clearer result display and does not affect the calculation.
Currency: Optionally enter your currency, for example EUR, USD or a symbol like €. This is only used for the result display and can be left empty.
Fuel Unit: Select the unit in which the price is given, such as liters, gallons or kilowatt hours. This selection is also only used for the result output and does not affect the calculation.
Price per Unit: Enter the price per unit, for example the price per liter.
Amount Purchased: Enter the purchased amount, for example how many liters you have filled.
Start Calculation: Click the "Calculate" button.
Result: The tool shows you the total cost based on your inputs. You will also see a clear breakdown including the amount, selected unit, price per unit and the final total.
