Just enter your annual electricity consumption in kilowatt-hours and the price per kWh from your electricity provider and the total electricity cost will be displayed. You can also include base fees, grid charges and the applicable tax rate in the calculation.
Instructions
Annual Consumption (kWh): Enter your total annual electricity consumption in kilowatt hours (kWh) in the provided field.
Cost per kWh: If you have an electricity tariff with a fixed price, enter the cost per kWh provided by your energy supplier. You can also add a currency unit after the amount, for example EUR or USD. The tool will automatically display this unit in the results.
Basic Fee per Month: Optionally enter the monthly base fee charged by your electricity or grid provider. Many electricity tariffs include a fixed monthly basic fee.
Grid Operator Cost per kWh: Optionally enter the grid fee per kWh charged by your local grid operator. In many regions, electricity costs include separate network charges that are billed per kWh.
Tax Treatment: Optionally choose in the dropdown whether taxes are already included in your electricity price or need to be added separately.
Tax Rate (%): Here you can enter the tax rate that applies in your country. Depending on your selection, it will either be added to the price or shown separately.
