With the Free Online Custom Tolerance Calculator, you can verify your measurements against specific tolerances specified in technical drawings.
Ideal for entering tolerances for specific length measurements or similar measuring methods and displaying the allowed tolerance range. When comparing actual values with nominal values, this tool is especially useful for determining how far they deviate when falling outside the defined tolerance. This is particularly practical when working with two plus or two minus tolerances, where the indirect optimal nominal size shifts accordingly.
Instructions
Enter Nominal Size in mm: Input the nominal size in millimeters in the designated field.
Enter Actual Size in mm (Optional): Optionally, input the actual size in millimeters to evaluate the deviation from the nominal size.
Enter Tolerances: Choose whether you want to specify a positive and a negative tolerance, or two positive or two negative tolerances, and enter the corresponding tolerances in millimeters.
Start Calculation: Click the "Calculate" button to determine the tolerance.
Result: The calculated tolerance, upper and lower limits, and information regarding whether the actual size adheres to the specified tolerances are displayed below the form.
