My website is now exclusively available in English. If you’re wondering why that is, the answer is pretty simple. The reach is simply much larger in English. By using English on my website, I can address a global audience since most communication on the internet takes place in English. Originally, I had planned to create bilingual content—English for international users and German for my Austrian and German readers. However, I ultimately decided to stick with English only. English is also widely spoken in Austria and Germany, so my posts shouldn't pose too many difficulties.
Even though German is my native language—and as strange as it may sound—writing in English is much less complicated in terms of grammar. Polite forms are also much simpler in English. I don’t want to give the false impression that I speak English fluently. Honestly, I probably couldn’t speak or write two sentences without making mistakes. xD
I work a lot with translation tools and have a few native English speakers who proofread my texts and help me improve. A big thank you to everyone who supports me. Hopefully, my English skills will improve over time. lol
If I make any serious mistakes or completely misuse a saying, please don’t hesitate to let me know. Thank you! :)
