I've written a new article about vaccinations. It's one of those subjects where people seem to have very strong opinions, and the discussions can get pretty heated. But vaccinations have already prevented an enormous amount of illness and saved countless lives. That's why I think they deserve a proper place on my website, separate from the general article about the immune system.
I've tried to keep the new section short and factual, without the usual myths you find in so many discussions about vaccines. The point isn't to argue for the sake of arguing. It's to explain what vaccinations do and why they matter.
And if you haven't checked your own vaccination record in a while, maybe this is a good reminder to do that and ask your doctor whether anything is missing.
