Counting calories isn't for everyone. While I believe it's beneficial for everyone to experiment with it at least once for a certain period to gain a better understanding of food, many people don't want to do this for a lifetime. This is where my new concept comes in: the Easy Eating Guide.
The Easy Eating Guide is a nutrition concept based on a simple color system, similar to a traffic light. Green means GO—you can eat as much of this as you want every day. Yellow stands for Caution—here, the amount is limited to a specific number, which varies depending on your goal. Red does not mean Stop; rather, it indicates that caution is needed—only a very limited amount is allowed.
Essentially, low-calorie foods are sorted from Green to Red, with Red representing foods with the highest calorie density. It's very important to me that Red is not interpreted as forbidden food. Everything can be enjoyed in moderation!
The Easy Eating Guide is designed for everyone, whether they want to lose weight, gain weight, or maintain their weight. The only difference lies in the amount recommended from each category. Regular weight checks and looking in the mirror will help you measure your progress. This will determine whether you should eat more or less from each list.
